Here at Vertical Concrete Solutions, we offer products and services to facilitate pouring concrete vertically. We have patents on both our method and apparatus. Our system makes it possible to literally stack wet concrete on top of itself, which is something we have trouble convincing even veteran concrete people is possible.
The system originated when our company owner and founder, LeRoy Gray, decided it would be easier to pour a foundation under a house he had just moved, rather than move the house onto it. Instead of digging out the extra two foot perimeter that would be required to form both sides; he simply waterproofed the dirt and poured against it. He also implemented a newly designed method of slip forming the concrete which he had recently invented.
Needless to say, he saved a lot of time, money, and hassle on the pour. It quickly became apparent that the method would work even better on a larger scale. In the fifteen years since, the Vertiform method has been used on many major projects all over the country, and we are constantly coming up with new applications for its use.
